Annual General Meeting – Treasurer

Hey all you Sunnybank Saints Accountants or Managers or Administrators

Your Club needs your expertise !!

Your Club’s AGM will be held on Thursday 27 October at 7.30 pm St Barnabas Church Hall, 189 Lister St in Sunnybank.

As part of the AGM deliberations, Committee members will be elected for the 2017 season.

While we have nominations for most of the key Committee positions, we do not yet have a nomination for Treasurer.

It is critical for the proper management of club finances, that we fill this role.

A broad outline of the Treasurer’s role is as follows:

• Overall management of club finances including electronic bookkeeping (MYOB)
• Authorising payment of bills by online banking (CBA netbank)
• Keeping records of invoices and payments in shared online folder (google drive)
• Preparing monthly financial reports for meetings (push a button in MYOB)
• Liaising with auditor for annual audit

& attending monthly Club Committee meetings.

We estimate that the time required for this role is 3-5 hours per week.

The Treasurer is supported by a commercial book keeper, retained by the club.
The Treasurer is also supported by our club’s Webmaster
